Doron retired from active service in 2021 as the head of a division in the operation
directorate of the IDF’s joint staff. He is a former commander of the Israeli submarine force,
former head of the navy’s economy and budget department and of a project managing
department in the joint staff.
He graduated a Bachler degree in economics, an executive MBA degree and a master
degree in political science expertizing in national defense all from the Haifa University.
Doron is a climate adaptation advisor and climate resilience project manager currently
managing the Israeli MOD climate resilience program and municipal adaptation projects.
